How do you stream sequences together to create a yoga class? How might you sequence a bit more creatively? What does it mean to be creative? What is the difference between teaching a 60-minute studio class or a 2-hour workshop? These questions, amongst many others, are the work of our Methods module. We’ll go into depth about tightening up your cueing, practice teaching and giving\/getting feedback, creating sequences, creating classes, holding space, creating the energy of the practice with your voice, your music, and so much more.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe methods module is all about the 'how' + helping you take all of your knowledge + experience of the practice and share it with others in ways that are tangible, efficient, and unique to you. It is about cultivating your own unique teaching style while also sharing the ancient wisdoms of the practice and its modern twists. This module focuses on creative sequencing, fine-tuning your cueing, practice teaching, hands-on assists, the energetics of holding the space and reading the room, and giving + receiving feedback on your teaching. We approach it all through the lens of our 3 I's: how can you teach in ways that are intentional, intelligent and intuitive? We hope you leave this module feeling more confident in your teaching, aware of areas that you can grow into, and connected to a community of people ready to support you in that journey!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur 300-hour Teacher Training course is broken up into modules, each with a specific focus point. You may choose to take individual modules for Continuing Education credit, or take all of them to receive your full 300-hr. certification. We approach our modules with a hybrid online + in-person approach. Some of our modules can be taken fully online, while some are specifically in-person so that you can get the most out of the content.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo complete your 300-hr. you'll need to complete all 6 modules: The Practices, The Methods, The Body, The Study, The Industry + The Thread. You can complete them in any order, as long as 'The Thread' is the last module that you complete. You can take modules one at a time, or back-to-back in an intensive format.
